That silver is awesome.....Now for tank #2 DP. You've set a high level for yourself.
I'm glad you like it.
I think I have another in me.

How good a shape is the frame in?
Pretty decent condition overall considering. The left side of the tail is tweaked down a bit from it landing in the street, but the rest is square as far as I can tell.
Clicky
That bike of yours keeps looking better and better. Damn you for stealing my color combo though
Enjoy those wheels, I expect 'em to be color matched to that tank

Got a lead on a set of used but I assume in good condition BST wheels for the Monster. Asking price is $2900.00 worth it?

That's about a grand less than the current price from motowheels.
Once you ride a bike with light wheels you'll never go back.
Your call as to whether that's a good price or not for a used product.

If the question is should I drop $3k on fancy wheels, the answer is that it's not worth it.
If the question is should YOU drop $3k on fancy wheels and then post up a bunch of sessy pix of the result, the answer is HELL YES IT'S WORTH IT!!!

TPS sensor went buhbuy.......Ordered a new one thanks Candice at CA-Cycleworks. Parts for S4 are hard as hell to find. Feel like I need to have an entire parts bike in case something else breaks.

Great reading from the beginning of this thread.
How did you determine it was the TPS and what were the symptoms? This has me nervous...

Great reading from the beginning of this thread.
How did you determine it was the TPS and what were the symptoms? This has me nervous...
Throttle response was really choppy at idle and when riding. When the bike was idling the RPM varied when it should have been constant and eventually stall out. That shouldn't have happened. Additionally when riding the throttle was very choppy, jerky at some points surging at others and I knew it wasn't a gas issue.
Knowing all this, the TPS was the logical culprit. Working with the Tech as my local shop we were able to confirm that TPS was the issue. Needless to say, there were a lot of other things that could have been it but knowing the bike history helped figure out where we needed to go.
