Hi. I’m Troy McClure. You may remember me from such self-help tapes as “Smoke Yourself Thin” and “Get Some Confidence, Stupid!”
NYTimes: "...highlights of his global tour include encounters with Nelson Mandela, an 800-year-old demigod and a dildo collector."

The best way to make sure it doesn't rain is to have a contingency plan ... so how about that other place up the road we went to a couple of times with the big indoor area and carpark, is it still an option?

Just in case.

Mark, the BOM sais there is only a 90% chance of rain so it will bucket down during the day then fine up for the evening.   coffee   By the odd chance that i'm wrong, then your contingency plan could be a good idea. Forget the name of the place but one of us could stay at Bar and herd people up there, depends on who braves it if it rains.

I thought I heard someway say Concours......... There are some rules and etiquette involved is there not?

Would this involve a non-appearance fee?

Wish I could have stayed longer & actually entered the bike. Had to leave early, but at least was able to drop in for around 90 min's or so & say g'day to Brian.

Sounds like your 'negotiations' took a bit longer than the other Dan's.

I  know of at least one person who spent a phenomenal amount to get that trophy back  Lips Sealed

Hmm ... congratulations Brian you clearly had one of the best two bikes in your category. Maybe next year there will be more than two entered.

Do I get a prize for picking the winner??

A kiss from the winner perhaps?

Congratulations to you too Dez ... a worthy winner in a hotly contested field. Of course a stirring dedication as well.
