Rizoma Grip and Bar End Question
«

Luckily I had zero problems installing the grips, but ran into a snag when installing the bar ends. There's a gap between the end of the grip and bar end (about 1/4"). Anyone heard of this problem and if so what have you done to correct the problem? drill a new hole for the throttle housing? Cut the bars down flush with the grip ends? FYI, I'm installing on stock '03 M620 bars...
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Either one of those ideas would work, but what if you trim the nipple off of the throttle housing and scoot everything out ? If push came to shove I'd cut the bars, but I like to cut things up too

I'm thinking of cutting the bars down to just about the grip ends. If I trim the nipple of of the housing I'd be nervous that it would slip on the bar occasionally. I'd also have to trim the nipple in the housing on the left hand side of the bars as well. A nice, sharp hacksaw blade will most likely do the trick.

Problem solved. I cut the bars down with pipe cutters. Looks perfect.

I had the same problem with my rizomas, but only on the throttle side. I just cut it down.
