So, it seems most people with low-mounts used the Cyclecat frame sliders.  Now that they're dust in the wind, what other option(s) do I have?

Do they look ridiculous?  I'd imagine they would have to be very long to clear the pipes.  My bike is all black though so they should blend in easily.

Someone once told me they're essential on a bike with low-mounts because in a low-side, the pipes will push the bike up more onto the tank as it slides... ?
