you know when I was here before,
all I had to do is mention a pool party and so many people would reply yes or no. now nothing?  WTF
now the group has split up, and no one really wants to do anything except a very small group of people. thats its very sad!
this use to be such a very close group of people.
I understand people have moved and people are busy, etc...
but come on people make some time,
come to a party, make a ride, do something...

This group is one of the main reasons I wanted to come back!

Sorry

In my case, it isn't social phobia. My wife's birthday is tomorrow, and we're going to be going to my son's swimming awards ceremony Saturday after a birthday brunch for her. Also, I'm on a low carb diet, so I can't drink beer or eat BBQ sauce, or other things that pool parties tend to have. I'm trying to fit back in my gear after a summer of sitting around inside avoiding the heat.

Looks like the temps are going to be decent this weekend. I'll be ready for a ride when the Hi Temp isn't in the 90's, and providing four months on a trickle charge under a cover hasn't ruined the multi.

Look I was not asking for reasons why people aren't doing anything, I agree with what everone is saying.  I understand we have other obligations, but hell post up a sorry cant make it, have other plans, its too hot, no, or go make the beast with two backs yourself,  is at least better than nothing.  And I am one that cant make many dinners, etc.. I work nights, but in 2 weeks I go to days and will be able to plan/make more stuff.

I just needed to get that off my mind.

and I know you would be here  we talked about it the other day.

I love this group and all the people in it (except Dax) (nobody loves him)

I"m out, sorry to say.  I've got a rather unpleasant trip to Austin that's been lurking on the calendar for a while.

At least I've talked Sam into letting me drive "his" 500.... Wonder if it'll do 75 mph on that new stretch of I-35 outside of Austin?  (The road is really flat there... maybe I'll have a tailwind  laughingdp  )  On the plus side: I predict no Performance Awards will be given  Evil

At any rate, thanks for the invite, LYD.  I think Alan will make it over  waytogo  And, if he can find an adequate amount of dynamite to separate Sam from his gaming, the both of 'em might turn up.  No guarantees on Sam, though  Embarrassed

Undesirable?  WTF!  Where else on earth do you have the luxury of three showers per DAY; once after you go out and get the paper, the second after you've gone out to get the mail, and the third after you've walked the ten feet from your house to the grill to flip some burgers?  It's &^@*ing heaven on earth, I tell you.
