7500 mile service

It's a 2010, original owner bought it in June 2011.  All the tech said was was they were worn and needed replacing.  I questioned that, belts and plugs are supposed to last 15,000 mi.

2010 - replaced belts passes muster for me then. The belts are an AGE or Milage item, whichever comes frist. Age is 2 years.

If the bike was made in early 2010 or even late 2009 then they are due as we're closing out 2012.

I made the mistake of walking through the showroom today, fell in love with a yellow Streetfighter 848.  I'm thinking it might be time for an upgrade.  Holy shit is that thing sweet.

Just an FYI that has a Plastic Tank and is on the list of bikes/models affected by ethanol.The new 848 SE has an Aluminum Tank and it is my unsderstanding you can upgrade to one of those tanks but it will set you back $1,500. - Gene
