Awesome, thanks for all the info!  I'll have a mechanic take a look and see if i actually have the full package installed with ecu upgrade.  And yes, I will look into new forks.  Any suggestions on new forks? And what does it means to have the suspension tuned for me? As far as stiffness/softness, how do I test?  Do i just ride around and see if it feels nice? Anything specific to look for or feel for?  Thanks again! Day 2 and im already learning bookloads! You guys are the best  bow down

You don't need to jump out and buy new forks off the bat.  Have your suspension guy set sag (spring tension) and rebound on the shock (hydraulic damping).  Sag is set with YOU on the bike.  He should let you know if you need different springs front or rear, and if decent front/rear balance can be achieved with the existing components.  There is no external adjustment on the forks, but if necessary the forks can be opened up and the spring spacer can be readily modified to get the proper sag and the fork oil can be refreshed or the viscosity changed to tweak the damping behavior.  Google suspension setup and you'll find the basic concepts.  You can do all those things yourself as well, but a good supension guy is worth every penny.  If you find you want more than the stock suspension can offer, there are many options, but be prepared to pay $$ and also invest significant time in knowledge acquisition and tweaking.  Suspension is a big topic.  Start with a solid street setup and go from there.  And enjoy your new S2R!

Questions continue... So we established for sure that i had the termi exhaust.  Wanted to revisit that.  So the whole termi system includes upgraded intake and ECU and exhaust.  Here is pictures of under my seat and my air box.  Is that the "cut airbox" and also how can I tell if i have the termignoni ECU upgrade? Is it supposed to be an additional chip somewhere or is it just the original ECU tuned? Thanks!

The second picture shows a cut air box lid.

The Ducati Performance (DP) ECU replaces the original ECU.
It's located on the right side of the battery (the picture shows one of the two fat wire bundles going into it)
There is a sticker on it - that number could establish which ECU it is.

An easier job to track the part number sticker on the outside of the ECU.

Both my stock and my DP ECU has different numbers than yours, but mine is a EU 2007 S2R800.
