those are some impressive numbers on the torque side, those motors only put out 65ish torque at the wheel. its got to be a beast.

I got the bike back. I happened to have to drive an hour north of the shop, and ended up picking the bike up on the way down. Way to spend 6 hours driving around today. Angry I only drove 250 combined miles to boot. :\

I took the bike out for a short 5 mile ride before i had to pack up and go. I was working but work could wait an hour.  Tongue
First impression is the bike is REALLY perky, but theres a lot of vibration through the head. Me thinks i didnt torque the head tube bearings properly since i put needle bearings in there now. Don't have time to ride it right now but ill take it out on my way to school later this week and see how she fairs.

This is the old DS1000 motor in the 2006 S2R1000

Roughly the same conditions with the new motor.
73 degrees
63% Humidity

I bet you feel nearly 10 more hp with a light bike like that. The lighter internals would make it perky also.
Glad its on the road.
How much time did they spend on it with the dyno tune? Just a reflash in the end and a few runs, or more extensive tuning?
You got me thinking about that airbox..What did they say about your special airbox set up?
