switched it up to a Diavel, let me say that it's been a long time since a bike has put a smile on my face everytime I take it out. it's light, it's FAST, it handles well, and it's comfortable, not to mention I get stopped everywhere I go, jap guys harley guys duc guys all go crazy for it when they see it, (sold a 2010 s1000rr for it) anyway I still love the monster (old full trellis frame ones) here is a photo

I told my wife that in a few years, when there is a used market, I will likely get a diavel for longer rides. Diavel is a nice compromise. 1198 is not a fun bike for long rides, or for short rides if you are 2 up.

it's really an incredible machine, I actually picked this 2013 cromo up for the price of a demo with 5000 miles on it, hence why i had the termis installed right away...

I just went to check out the cannonballers at the harley museum, everyone was fawning over the bike lol
also pics dont do these bikes justice they are machines you have to see in person, my only gripe is for such an expensive bike ducati should have put on a full ohlins

On the price....it's sorta stander with the cruiser market, no? Ducati already knows what those guys pay for harleys/victorys etc etc so they priced it accordingly. Just trade up to the Diavel S when it comes out in a year or two....I saw the duacti truck with them when it came out awesome bike indeed!
