Little-Red riding hood???

« on: June 29, 2008, 12:48:42 PM »

Hey everyone,

I recently found out that the DML is now the DMF (thanks Eric).  I've been trying to join for the last couple of years but I have always ended up finding an excuse not to do it.  However, every time I meet people who belong to this forum, I'm reminded that there are cool people on the internet (not just crazies looking for hook ups... lol).

Anyway, My name is Delmar and I have been riding Ducati motorcycles for about 5 years.  I've owned a few Monsters and now I only have a 1997 916 and a 2006 999S.  I live in San Leandro with my Wife Monique, Bam-Bam & Pebbles (our two rhodesian ridgebacks), and Oyster, Leo & Twinx (our three crazy cats).

I'm looking forward to meeting people who enjoy riding Ducati motorcycles and just enjoying the pleasure of owning a well built motorcycle.

Delmar

PS:  Yes, I am Mexican, I have lived in the U. S. for about 6 years , and I love it!!!

Yeah, I had been trying for a while but I was always unsure about signing up to a big forum (bad experience on BARF).  I'm glad I signed up to DMF though.  I've been reading through some of the forums and it seems like a good, fun, safe environment.

I will post some pics of my bikes as soon as I found out how to do it!  I tried posting my own pic but there must be a trick and I shall find it!!! LOL

Thank you,

Delmar

Hey Ms. I,

Yeah, I'm glad I signed up.  This seems like a fun forum.  I sure live close to your work.  I also work in Fremont, so we're even closer!  I'm sure we can meet some time soon and take a fun ride around town!  Not on the freeway though!   Tongue

Thank you for making me feel welcome.

I posted up some instructions on posting a picture: http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=109.0

Feel free to PM me if you have questions about it.

And yes, it would be great to get together for a ride sometime soon.  Agreed on the freeways. Tongue  Palomares is a nice road nearby.

I live in Foster City with my boyfriend and two whippets.

Yeah, hey! are you going to the MOB thingy on Monday the 7th?  I'm planning on going and maybe bringing the wife!  I'll ask her to ride with me and hopefully she'll say yes.  Anyway, we also have two dogs!!!  They're a little bigger than your whippets I think.  Bam-Bam is 100 lbs. and Pebbles is about 35-40 pounds (she's still a little puppy LOL)

Let me know when you want to go riding!

Unfortunately I will have to miss the 7th, as I will be in Calgary for work (I travel a lot).  Hope you guys have fun!

Feel free to PM me about riding, or start a thread in the local MOB section. Smiley
