i thought that was just the sprocket carrier, but I don't recall.  I can't imagine how I could rip the teeth off a sprocket any faster than I did on the DP aluminum one, but I would guess a polymer one would give it a good run for it's money  waytogo

as for the life of it's own without logic or reason, I'm not sure that's much of a differentiator, is it?

My mistake - no plastic, just the usual ergal disposables  Undecided

I was shown this plastic piece by my dealer, but checking the +/- 2010 catalogs I couldn't find them.

Good to know (maybe)

I found the part # for the plastic carrier 96776708B
There are two halves of an outer ergal teeth ring - probably made as a quick change alternative...

didn't see any reviews, but I still can't help but think that's a bad idea.  Am I missing something?  I realize it's "just" the carrier....

News from Australia?

Some young Aussie bloke dominated a little race last weekend. Even though he doesn't ride for the red team anymore it was a good send-off considering he won't be riding for anybody soon ... ahh retirement at such a young age ... if only.

Oh and Ducati Turismo starts this weekend!

Did someone say my name?  Been a bit slammed at work, and recovering from our little corporate run we did in centennial park, with 8000 of our closest banking friends.  Apparently, a 5K actually means 5.7k, which is a horrible trick to play on someone of my fitness level, as was the absolutely insane amount of drinking that ensued afterward, at the event, and then on to Oxford street.  Apparently, this is the time of year that bankers decide to get fit, and then immediately ruin it with gallons and gallons of delicious poison.

So, dehydrated, icing my knees, working my arse off, and longing to get out on two wheels, but not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel...
