I finally got to watch the races last night....WOW...just wow...nailbiter for sure!

I really and truly feel in a way that Sykes got somewhat robbed, as it would have been a truly crowning moment for the Kwaker and all the work they put in to make that bike work right stand atop the podium as champion...bittersweet I'm sure it is...

I just hope that Lascorz fundraiser auction for Sykes helmet brings in a pretty penny!

I really hope Kawi keeps their bike competitive in the next few years. Without knowing how the 1199 will do next year, I would not want to see the Ape and Beemer constantly fighting for the top spot.

they haven't made a peep about going back to GP and that WSBK team is (was) the GP team.. i think they intend to keep it that way.

That is excellent news! Why waste time in MotoGP when you have a winning formula in WSBK? Something Ducati should have considered.

at the time when Ducati made that decision, they pretty much owned WSBK to the point it was sometimes jokingly called the Ducati Cup...

that was actually several years earlier.

and when they did leave, they didn't really leave.  they let althea pay for some stuff but the engineers went over there.  bayliss salary++ went to valentino, but the internal wsbk team mostly just had different shirts on.
