New PCV

It finally arrived and I went over today to have it fitted and mapped to the s4 I didn't realize just how loud the duc really is until I was stood next it and it revving to 9000rpm it's loud but we ended up with 103.44 hp & 68.23 ft/lbs torque and more importantly the mixture is pretty linear right the rev range. I'm a happy bunny.

Powercommander 5. No hook up issues. And a couple of months ago I had her dynoed at 98 hp  and 62 ft/lbs on the same dyno but the fuel air mix was lean at some points in the rev range hence the need to go looking for a powercommander and after searching on the web and flea bay I went for a new PC 5 and it mapped by a local guy on the dyno now this guy does most of the mapping for the guys in Ireland who race ss sp bikes here as he has the only dyno that is available trackside anywhere in Ireland. how fortunate am I.

i meant which version of the PCV (there are different wire hook ups, so im wondering which one on yours fits the S4 wiring harness).

98/62 to 103/68 is not bad at all!

i dont have a PCV on mine, i had the map made directly onto the ECU, but i was wondering about having a multimap feature.

He Man please excuse the brain fart but hopefully these numbers mean something to you 710-411 no maps that is what is on the side of the box that the PCV came in and everything plugged in as if it was meant to be there the only issue was having to use velcro to mount the PC control box I don't trust velcro but it's holding so far.

Again pardon my ignorance it is a PC 3 it seems that it was all that the dealer could get. I never really looked I was more interested in the figures and getting my arse onto the bike to see what it felt like on the road and it feels rather nice indeed theres no dip and jerk around 5000 rpm anymore just a seamless delivery right up to about 9000 rpm it doesn't any more powerful but I would say that's down to the fact there are no peaks and troughs in the power delivery all in all a very worth while exercise.

I put a PCV on my S2r1000 without any hick ups...Might be tough on a S4 bike though...
