I think if Bazazz wants to be here they need to be a sponsor like you are chris.

Ha, yeah, and we've given up on the S2R. Putting it 100% back to stock and the owner is going to trade it in for new generation Monster.

I'm hoping Bazzaz will have a solution for the S2R 1000.  I have one that's been acting weird as of late.  It has the DP ecu since it was new as was running okay but is now dying or bouncing the RPM needle at idle.  Not sure if it's a fueling issue or maybe needs a new tune.

This is the first I have heard of the steeper motor as a probable cause.  Getting annoyed with this wonderful bike, I don't rider her as much because I don't trust her to not die on me at a stop light, or through a low speed turn.  scary in traffic.

I love it's look and Ducati no longer makes Monsters with full trellis frames.  I think it'll be a classic soon.  Just need to keep her running.

Bazzaz, just a shot in the dark here.  Is the S4RS fuel control module and fuel mapper that different?  I'm guessing at least the connections are the same.  Software may need to be modified for the engine size??  Just asking as I really don't know.

Thanks!

1d10t,
We have never had the S2R in for any kind of development so unfortunately I can not say that the S4RS unit will work.
I apologize for the inconvenience.

I don't suppose you want one?  How long do you think you will need an S2R 1000?
