2011 Monster 796 ABS

« on: October 17, 2012, 11:49:37 AM »

I am going with a custom headlight on my '11 796 Monster and am trying to avoid cutting the factory harness connector from the headlight assembly (pics below).  I've tried a company that specializes in connectors and harnesses called Aeromotive but they cant get it.  Any ideas (besides sourcing one from a wrecked monster)??

You could try Eastern Beaver (he's a Canadian operating out of Japan.  If the website doesnt show what you need, email him direct and ask.  I found him pretty helpful in the past).

I'm so glad I stumbled upon this, thanks so much for the link.
I've been needing a new connector for my headlight.
This will do.

Man you guys are on point!  I found the harness at the eastern beaver site.

It appears to be a "Sumitomo HM Sealed 4 position waterproof connector" if anyone is looking for the same part.  They have it listed for $3.95 but when you add it to your cart it tacks on $200 shipping haha.  I tried emailing the guy about the glitch (hopefully its a glitch!)
