I was thinking of doing a nice custom bike from a Ducati ST2 for a while now and finally got around to strip my trusty ST for the next challenge.  After 2 days of cutting, welding and grinding she looks like this. drink

Also in the works is a "Moto Motivo" Monster usind a 999 frame and swingarm, Monster tank and seat and a MTS1000DS motor. Wink

The tank is from a Ducati 999, but will be modified during the build to give it a "sleeker" look.

Got the seat from Radical Ducati in Spain, but might change it to one of my own designs similar to the seat on this bike.

Nice idea. Looks like a shorter swingarm might be in your future.  popcorn

Everytime I take the plastic off my ST3 I want to make it into a naked bike.
I want to keep the rear end and tank but just strip it down.
I can't figure out what to do with the headlight and computer/dash.  bang head

I know the tank and seat are just resting on the frame, but I think you have the angle just right.  Radical Ducati's bikes look awesome, but the tail section on their bikes is normally pointing a little too high for my tastes.

Where did you get the Radical Ducati tail section?  A guy came on to the forum a while back who announced that Radical Ducati would soon have a distributor here in the U.S., but then I didn't hear anything more.

What kind of headlight are you thinking of going with?  The V-rod and Yamaha MT-01 style headlights always look good. A traditional round Monster light would look good too.

He imports them from RAD directly.  I ordered the cafe tail from them, it took about a month but it wasn't too bad, Pepo and Reyes speak English well, the only hassle was sending a bank wire transfer rather than credit card, paypal, google checkout etc
