I didn't think I would say this about the 999 tank, but the top lines are beautiful! I love how cleanly the tank/seat pan flow. My favorite part is being able to see the '80s logo from the OPPOSITE rear quarter of the bike

What about blacking out the reservoir? The vintage guys have come up with some very unique oil reservoir/tanks. Maybe you could find a suitable one for this application that actually adds to the uniqueness and aesthetic of your bike.
Again, well done! I am curious, to know how the bike will handle for you considering the longer ST swinger. I personal preference is a taller ride height and shorter wheel base to really "flick" the bike in.
I have put a few thousand miles on an ST2 and can say, it handled beautifully in the tight stuff for a longer wheel base bike. Just curious to hear about your ride thoughts.
