Monster 1100 evo clutch lever cross-compatability

can any one tell me what all year monsters have clutch levers that are compatable with the monster evo? I checked the parts books becasue i have someone that will sell me a clutch lever from his 1100S but when i check the parts numbers, they are different
1100S part# 631.4.017.1A
1100EVO part# 631.4.046.1A
i figured it may be because of the change to a wet clutch that they would have changed the master/lever combonation, so i checked the the 848
848EVO part# 631.4.017.1A
so that obviously cant be why.

This puzzles me....
I think the differences would normally be ratio (distance between pivot bolt and plunger rod) and/or clutch switch tab (allows you to start in gear, with clutch lever pulled).
CRG doesn't list a separate lever for the Evo.
Rizoma list the same lever for both bikes.
GillesTooling same same.
Maybe this means that the levers are compatible - maybe they all missed something - maybe it's just different colors...
I'm into details, so I would ask a dealer to show me both and measure/compare/study the crap out of both.

So friday after work i stopped at the local dealer to talk with the parts guy and we came to the conclusion any lever from the 749/999, all newer monsters, 848/1098/1198 bikes will work. all measurements were the same, and the mounting points were the same, and that after having looked at all of the different bikes on the show room, could not find a SINGLE difference between the levers on the 1100 evo against the rest of the bikes.

Good work
, but still strange since Ducati most often uses the same part numbers if the part is the same. Did you check the clutch switch tab? Color same?

we didnt check the clutch switch tab, so i cannot say for sure. But they were all just silver levers. But besides the point, a guy from one of the other ducati forums had a spare lever from his 1100S that he sold me to me along with a tail for the license plate. So i will report back as to whether or not it is in fact the exact same lever. I will even check the weight to make sure its the same material.

thats kind of what we thought, one thing is for sure the manufacturer is the same because they all have the same stamps on them.
