Hi All,

Anyone had a crook TPS?

If so, what were the symptoms?

Hi GK.

Mine crapped it's self after water issues in the connector.
It gave a WFO reading to the ECU, which hardly let it run, injecting so much fuel I used 10litres in 37klms!

If you need a new one, try bikesportdevelopments.co.uk
Otherwise you'll give yourself a heart attack at the Ducati price.

Cheers.

Thanks Alf.

I've just set my TPS at the 150Mv. Then we ran the bike (it hardly ran though, coughing and spluttering).
After I measured the Mv again. This time it was 148Mv.

Next we simply cracked open and shut the throttle a few times. Checked the tps again. This time it was 142Mv.

I suspect it's stuffed! What do you reckon?

BTW, thanks for the link. I'll have a lookie now.

Just checked their site. Unfortunately, they cannot source the TPS that I need.

Anyone else have any ideas of where I may source one? Somewhere else in the UK or US perhaps?

Cheers,

Hi GK.

Yes it sounds RS. Did you see the TPS voltage change as you rotated the throttle?
Do an ebay search, that's how I got onto bikesport, there are other suppliers here also.
Or you may refer to the Bikeboy (Brad)for further advice.
Cheers.
Alf.
