...er...I don't get it? Better attendance than last year, about the same number of dukes?...some bevels, some belts, etc? Rally always open to everyone. ...as for 'don't talk about it' etc...mystified...anyway best weather since '09, and lucky too as the previous 2 weekends were 'uninhabitable'. Snow upsets some folk?...gets my aches and pains going too! It is true only 'some' Ducati riders ride their bikes differently to others, preferring a gentler 'putt' or trackdays etc...all good, ain't freedom grand? The adventure riders in general and BM riders in particular, as a group tend to do more rallies/miles etc...also all good. Finally we had a smattering of 'touring monsters' a Diavel or two, Can Am Spyders, Sidecars, Sports, St's and an ageing BM from Canberra which was pressed into service at the 11th hour, won "oldest combined" and "longest distance 'other marque', ". Ridden by the Hon' Sec' of the CDDC, (Canberra Ducky Club), because the ST3 went on strike! You can imagine how the BM fellers loved that story 'round the camp fire! (...until you ask 'em how many Superbike world championships BM's have won!)...and we get to give the Rehab' Centre a pile of dough at the finish, as we have done for 31 years. Thanks to all those who supported it, weather you were there or not. Thought for the day= "choose happiness". Sun and Corners, aunty
