Glad you remembered . Hope the next 50 are as good as this last 1. Only thing better would have been to have gotten married on June 28th Grin

A year ago today . . .

I married the man of my dreams.  Literally.

As goofy as it may sound, for many years I wanted to find a man to share my life with who would give as much as he received.  Someone who would love me despite my faults and foibles, and dysfunctional family (of origin).  Someone with whom I could completely be "me," unguarded, vulnerable.  It took me a long time to be able to take that risk, but my efforts were handsomely rewarded (pun intended).  As much as I bust his chops online from time-to-time, don't be mistaken . . . I absolutely adore Joel and am often in tears when I remember how much I wanted what I never thought I'd be able to find.  Amazingly, I found him.  Even more amazingly, he liked me, too.

Happy 1st Anniversary, Darling!

Michelle

I met lm on match.com

I wrote an ad that described what I was looking for, in such a way, that I felt it also described me. Because I have a somewhat odd sense of communicating my thoughts and wishes, friends who saw the ad, said..." you'll never meet anybody that way".

The last line in the ad said (if I remember correctly) " I want somebody who gets it"

Well.... I got........ somebody who gets it.
