Hi guys,

After installing rizoma handlebar, I have this intermittent high beam problem. When the handlebar is in straight position or turned to the left, the high beam works fine. But when the handlebar is turned to the right, high beam doesn’t work.  Searched the forum and I’m sure I have a connector problem or a loose connector.

My questions, where is this connector located? There are two connectors that I can easily see on the left hand side of the bike, one near the steering head and the second one a little bit further back. Both looks difficult to reach.

Second question, where can I find or buy monster factory service manual? I have the factory service manual for my Sportster and it helped a lot when working on my Sportster... well I used to “fix it until it’s broken”  Grin I have LT Snyder’s manual for monster , but it’s not factory service manual.

Thanks guys.

Its the large white connector just behind the headlight on the left side. I found out which plug it was by turning the bars until the light went out and then pushed the plug together and it came back on. Mine does it all the time now after installing the rizomas. There is a thread on here about how to fix.

Thank you very much Enzoman. I'll check it tonight.

BTW, the bright side about this is that I ride more carefully and stay farther away from cars, due to the fact that I can't flash the high beam to alert the drivers of my presence. Now I really ride as if I'm invisible Grin
