While waiting for some parts to arrive frame mods are put on hold.
Started working on headlight/gauge combo and rearsets.
First the gauge.
I always wanted to use a single gauge instead of the stock cluster, but the only option available on the market - Motogadget just isn't my cup of tea, so decided to make one from scratch.
It will be a 90mm tachometer with small colour display for speed, gear, temp and one single control button will give the option to scroll through fuel %, trip odometer, clock and outside temp. Being a fan of Panerai watches, designed a metal sandwich dial with panerai numbers.
Preliminary gauge designs.

The idea is to integrate the gauge into the headlight housing. I cut a piece of 50mm high and 90mm diameter pipe to see how deep I can sink it. Next step is using it as a model for carbon fiber housing.

Now the rearsets.
Got a brand new set of Ducati Performance titanium 999 rearsets and I knew they must be on this monster project.
A sketch (planned to use the exhaust support bolt as fix point)

First mock-up (before I make it using proper materials) using one of stock rearsets fix points, tomorrow will change it to the exhaust hanger point and angle the rod towards the engine.
