We just got six pounds of gourmet bacon in the mail for Christmas.  Someone loves us (and knows G well).
It's still buy a flounder a drink month

I just ate 3/4# of pepper encrusted, applewood smoked slab bacon. Washed it down with a glass of Jameson 12.  It's the meat equivalent of Red Bull and vodka!  [bacon] [bacon]

I know its not quite bacon, but having been inspired by this thread, I've made a batch of breakfast sausage-maple sugar whiskey.

Once you get past the concept, its delicious.

It's vodka distilled with maple sugar and it's AWESOME!! There's only the essence of maple in the aroma.  ;)
