Oh my Rob! I feel a little  :'( for your Tricolore having to make it around town looking like that.
I am hoping/thinking this is a very temporary measure.

Solved ,won Warp speed Radiator guards ,Brand new on ebay 99 cents wooohooooo Grin

Red  but i can live with that for 99 cents compared to $180+,regular retail. Undecided

And Thanks Paul for spotting it on ebay Kiss

Uh-oh ... what's going on here?

I know as I don't own a Tricolore I shouldn't be posting in here ... but I received an email for Geoffduc recently (who we met at WDW) and wanted to share because he specifically mentioned this thread. Below is some extracts from his email:

"... a guy kept coming into the store looking to buy one [a Tricolore Monster] I decided to sell it, I told him the price and said no offers so that when he came to see it he fell in love with it and it was sold.

I left most of the mods on apart from the "Riding House" belly pan and Akka exhaust can as he said he wanted a bike that looked standard, he certainly did his homework because his current bike is a Harley so he flew out with his pal to WDW to see what all the noise was about, the list of bikes that he drew up after visiting Misano was S4Rs Tricolore and Paul Smart SC which he hunted till he saw mine.

... thought it would be good to ... sell ... while the going is good"

A couple of photos of Geoff's former Tricolore Monster ... there are some nice decorations on the wall there laughingdp:

OK gents, the red tea tray was in a glass case in the ducati store at 2007 WDW, on the friday I asked could I purchase it but was told it was a sample and not for sale. Well I'd fell in love with it and kept going back to the guys behind the counter and asking could I buy it, come sunday evening as they were starting to get everything shut down and all the parts back into their boxes I asked again and I think they sold it to me to just get rid of me, but being a cheeky bugger I also presuaded them to sell me a pair of the new DP mirrors with the indicators built in which at the time weren't on sale.

The tea tray wasn't the usual plastic but some type of resin so it had a really nice smooth finish to it but Lars (stopintime) painted an OEM plastic tea tray which I saw when he stayed with us brits in Misano for WDW2010 and that looked good.
Hope that helps and if you want more pics of the tricolore one of you guys will have to PM me their e-mail addy so I can send pics as being an olde fart I still can't get my head around posting pics on the forum.

All the best from Jolly Olde England...Geoff... coffee

I really like that red beer tray kind of look like a big tongue coming out from under the bike ala Rolling Stones lips graphic.

Rob your bike is really starting to come along nicely with all your personal  SUBTLE  changes  cheeky
