Hi all,

Does anyone know if it is possible to put a 796/1100/848/Hyper Front Marchesini wheel on 696 ABS bike? IF so what is required?  ie. spacers, rotors, etc. I know the bolt pattern for the rotors are different.

HM/1100 straight swap. 796 with rotors
848 you'll need 796 rotors

basically all 6 bolts are straight swap
796 5-bolts are same offset at 696
848 5-bolt are too offset, you need 796 rotors

Great, thanks! Is there anything special that needs to be done for the ABS? I haven't seen any 6 bolt front Marchesini wheel around, only the 5.

you'll probably need the ABS sensor wheel, not 100% certain how it mounts.

My best suggestion is to take measurements, go to a Ducati shop and compare. take lots of detail pics.

Ah, Ok. I thought the 796/HM were the same offset. I will keep digging before I make any purchases. At least I know the M796 rotors with 848 wheel will do the trick!

No, I'm doing a SSS conversion. I already have the swing arm, rear brake line, rear hugger and the rear Marchesini, but been debating on doing the front wheel as well. I had problems finding info on the front wheel swap before and want to make sure I could do it w/o messing up the ABS or buying the wrong rotors.

Thanks!

I was going to use the Healtech, unless you know of another method?
