Just Ride!

« on: November 30, 2012, 10:21:56 AM »

We are closing the doors to the restaurant. This may be temporary or permanent. We are not sure yet. We are looking at our options and hope to open up again after the new year. Thank you to all those that supported us and gave us a try. Cry Ill keep you updated. Thanks again.

Aw man... Never mad it there as it out of my normal roving circles, but it was a hope.

Bummed to hear that you needed to do this.

Wow!  Bad news indeed!!  Really sorry to hear that you're going to close it down.  I was only up there once, but was REALLY impressed with what you had going on.  Hope you are able to get things sorted, and back in the kitchen soon.

And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw that—it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

Sorry to hear; my co-workers and I really liked the poboys (shrimp, oyster and ham), muffuletta, red beans and rice and the little pies.

Dang. Sorry it's not working out right now. I had plans to get there but never made the trip. I wish I had, now. I also wish you the best in your next chapter.

If you're up for it, I - and other aspiring small business owners - would like to hear your lessons learned. Maybe we do a CAM meet-up out your way sometime after the holidays...

Bummer!  Sad

Not sure the economy is much better but Richmond could use some New Orleans cuisine. If you found a little spot in Carytown near VCU, there are 30,000+ hungry students!  Wink Quaint neighborhood too.

Wish you could find a spot in my little town! Based on your signature, you'd be very comfortable as Jefferson's boyhood home is just down the road a few miles but restaurants have struggled here for the last four years and only one has gotten any traction while several have failed.

Good Luck!
