Closer to the Edge movie.  2010 Isle of Mann TT race with a focus on Guy Martin.

Searched and I don't think this is a derby.  Tried to buy a copy but I could only find non-US DVD format and no MP4s.  So after some web searching, came upon this:

http://www.solarmovie.so/link/play/637399/

(Two ads will pop-up when you try to play it, but on the third try it runs.)

I bought one of the euro-zone versions.  I was able to find
On-line the secret key sequence to make my dvd player
All-zone capable.  Do a search with the brand and model number.

Good to know.  Sadly, I use a PS3 to play my DVDs, which I'm thinking doesn't have a region code hack (or at least one I can easily perform).  And I just can't bone up the $30-or-whatever that DVD players cost these days, mainly out of principle.

It's a great video, but I needed a translator for most
Of guy martin's speech.  Funny story ... I was on isle of man
Just after the 2010 race.  After the days ride, I and a scouse
Riding partner were watching tapes of the races.  I tried to
Identify rider's home base by the accents ... Scottish, Irish,
Welsh.  Was doing pretty good until Martin came on.  When I couldn't
Place the accent, my bud says, " he's a hill billy".  I thought that meant
He was from the peak district.  My bud says, "no, he's just a moron".

laughingdp  I actually like his speech, though like you I can only understand half of it.  I just sounds cool so I listen to it as if it were music.

Reminds me of a brazilian girlfriend I had years ago---whenever she got angry she would unknowingly switch from english to portuguese as she yelled at me.  I didn't understand a word she was saying, but since brazilian portuguese has got to be the prettiest language on the planet I couldn't help smiling as I enjoyed what to me was sweet music.  This only made her angrier.  Grin  Clearly, that one didn't last long.

Rumor is he drinks gallons of tea each day - maybe if he switched to decaf the chatter would become speech....

So, he's not being considered for the role as the next Dr. Who?
