Not sure of you guys despise the us bike magazines as much as I do but the uk magazines are pretty much the best I've found... And they are finally available digitally and pretty cheap.

So far bike, ride, and mcn sport are on the ipad newsstand and it looks to be about 99 cents for the non current issue. Totally worth it IMO.

Bike is great but I'm not so happy with RiDE. There are a few interactive features but the whole magazine is formatted just like the print version so you spend the whole time zooming in and out. Bike have made each article fill an entire page and the scrolling is heaps better. Personally I prefer the content of Bike as well.

Is what's his name still circumnavigating the globe, or is his ass rotting in a SE Asian prison?

Thanks got the tip. Picked up my (X-Mas present) iPad today. I'll check it out. Always loved Bike but I had to kick the habit when B$N in Las Vegas started charging $8.95/issue for them.

I like both, but I like ride's gear reviews the best.

The UK bike magazines are way better but pricey here in State side.

Ps the IT magazines from UK are also far superior.

I'm "Down Under" and the local magazines are not up to much. I'm a big fan of Bike and actually think it is better on the iPad than in print.

Hmmm, searching the Newsstand for "bike" just brings up a mountain (pedal) bike magazine.
