Hi All, I'm starting this thread to catalog my adventures this winter as a take a wrench to my 07' 695. I have never wanted to move south until this winter when i was sidelined by the snow and salt/sand.
As my bike sits right now,

Mods already done
- Intergrated tail
- tail chop
- Removed any plastic
- Crankcase breather removed
These are the mods i would like to accomplish this winter....if you want to see more mods done contribute
here by buying my old parts.

- Add Oil Cooler
- 2-1 Exhuast System
- Ducabike rearsets
- MT-03 headligt
Further down the road aka when i have more $$$
- SBK Fork swap
- Wheels
- DSS to SSS
- Rear Shock
- Shorty rear hugger
- SBK masters and Calipers
- Bellypan
- CRG Levers
- Paint
I've been wanting to add this since i got stuck in traffic in the white mountains and my temp got 300 F. I've gotten an oil cooler from an M900 and now i just need the diverter spring and some place to mount it to. The boring route is to find a valve cover from a 2V bike and do it that way. Anyone do it another way? Directly to the frame or something? I'm open to ideas and you guys have alot of them!
I love this headlight from LSL

But from LSL it's $400!!! Not exactly cheap when you are on a budget. So to ebay i went and found
this Pretty much the same headlight but for $160 and not from China, double score!! I'll mount it up with some low profile blinkers like in the above photo. Gives it more of a street fighter look and gets rid of the boring circular headlight.
Now I've always liked the 2 into 1 system on the 1100EVO with the compwerkes can, so i thought I could do that! A google search later turns up this thread on
Ducati.ms so now i had actual pictures with what i wanted to do. I'm no expert welder, but my boss is and he is a great guy so he said he would do it.

so now i needed a can to fit to the end of the exhasust. I emailed competition werkes and they will pretty much build you anything you want. I got a quote of $400 for a can similar to the 1100EVO with a smaller ID that would just slip on to my exhuast outlet. But i though i could still do it cheaper and found that their smallest ID is on their can for the R6.

It's pretty much exactly want i wanted with a smaller inlet(around 1 7/8in) and you can find them online for 200-300$. Score! Now i'm just waiting for my headers to come back and i'll grab a can and mount it up. I'll probably have to fabricate something to mount the can to the frame as i don't like it just hanging off. The weight savings alone are going to be huge, the stock system is 18lbs the comp werkes can is around 4lbs i think. This will also alow me to ditch the stock rearsets and put some ducabikes(only ones out there i think, right?) on. This will clean up the rear ALOT. I'm only slighty worried about how the engine will cope with the new set up, if it doesnt like i'll just have get a new set of headers and go hi mounts or something.
Suggestions or tips are appreciated. Shiny side up!
