Unfortunately, I can only tolerate NASCAR 2 races out of the season...Sonoma and the Glen.
I mean, I understand the effort behind it but to me, it becomes an edurance contest more than anything on the big speedways.
Dover is entertaining but only because of the crashfest.
I went to one of the Nationwide series races at Iowa Speedway (short oval) and by about lap 20, I was thinking they should add spike strips to liven things up.

I am not picking on NASCAR by any means as IndyCar has the same effect to me.

I've received a handful of free tickets to Indy over the years at TMS, and if it wasn't free, I wouldn't attend.  Indy is a terrible "show."  At least NASCAR has close racing and some bumping.  Indy is more like a MotoGP procession on an oval.  The cars just spread out with only a select handful of good passes, which usually come on the final few laps.

Last count was 28 people injured.

Sort of a perfect storm sort of crash.

Thoughts are with the victims.

Same here, the garage was stunned. Might make tomorrow a tuff day.

It sounds like there were no fatalities, so the fence actually did what it was supposed to do.

As always, a great race at Richmond tonight.  [clap] JPM coulda had his first win on an oval, if not for that late caution.
