M696 with a 749 or Multistrada pipes??

I’m contemplating the idea of fitting OEM Exhausts from either a 2005 749 or a 2011 Multistrada 1200. I have 2009 M696 and really dig the look of the pipes beneath tail of the bike.
I search in the forum for some light of this mod, but had little luck.. I appeal to you all for advise.
Cheers

it's kinda tight under the tail for this but...
if you were to redo the tail section metal panel and seat pan to accomodate the exhaust can, either would be cool.
you'll also have to custom make a midpipe off of the stock one, basically cut the two pipes coming off the crossover and weld an extension to reach the new can at the tail.

Thank you the input. Looking at the Y section of the OEM pipes in the M696, It appears to be an easy job to have the extension made to meet the two entry pipes for the can.
The OEM 749 exhaust has a heat shield on top of the can…
