I'm having much more fun.

« on: February 01, 2013, 03:35:50 PM »

I started riding in 1983, and have ridden most of that time.  I've never had a brand new motorcycle.  With my S4Rs getting some maintenance done and some pretty cosmetic touches done, I'm without a bike for a bit.  After some thought and much research, I pulled the trigger.  I think I got a great deal.

My hope is that it will really enhance my enjoyment of riding.  I love my S4Rs and will be keeping it, but even with my extensive tweaks and mods, it's not especially enjoyable for me to ride for more than a couple hours at a time.  This will give me something for longer trips without utterly sacrificing all sporting ability.  And I'm excited about the ABS and shaft drive.

I pick her up in the morning.  Hopefully if I ever have to pick her up again after that I'll have the help of some passersby.

No doubt!  I'm pretty broke after getting the bike...gonna sell a guitar or two and do a few tweaks.  Slip-on is first on the list.
