S2R peg setup on M1100s
«

Now that I have the HeatTroller and the grip heaters on my new to me M1100S, I have started looking at a few other odds and ends. I acquired a set of peg mounts, pegs and levers from a S2R 800, and after smoothing out some mild rash here and there I have sent them to the powdercoater for a textured black finish that is close to the finish on the subframe. The only part that was not included was the rear brake master, and as the part number for that is the same for both bikes I see no problem with switching it over. This will get rid of the "chicken wings" and as I have no intention of riding with a passenger I think it should clean up the sides of the bike pretty well.

Worked for me! I just did minor adjustments here and there ten extended the pushrod for the master. Then of course relocate the reservoir. I've got to trim my reservoir line a bit but other than that it makes the bike look MUCH better.

The only difference is that I am making the pegs and levers black also. That does really transform the look, doesn't it?

I've done this install as well on my M796. I powdercoated everything black including pegs and levers. I used CF heal guards made for the passenger pegs and made a custom CF bracket to relocate the reservoir on the brake side...I'll have to get a picture of that side. There are a few tweaks and tricks to make it work - PM me and I'll be happy to elaborate.

Here is the result, a little powder coat, a little strip of metal, and Robert is your mothers brother!
Thanks for the input, Stormtrooper!
