Just found these on kickstarter, thought they looked interesting.  They are a little cheaper than the oberons, I wonder if they will be as good.  Only real difference I found was the additional wide angle light.

This looks interesting.  Hopefully he can get the project funded and going.

So they appear to have 4 directions vs the 2 of Oberon.

Oberon just has front and back - 180 degrees apart.

His mirrors? In the video, looks like hes using a CRG or CRG clone. Easy to see at 0:14

That is odd as I thought kickstarter had a rule about Projects.  This looks like a business enterprise.  Guess I can push my motorcycle product there as well......

At the end, what's the difference?

Most of the kick-starters I've looked at recently are of a very similar bent. He's created 1-off prototype  and wants to move that project into into a production mode

Two big rules
"Everything on Kickstarter must be a project.
A project is something with a clear end, like making an album, a film, or a new game. A project will eventually be completed, and something will be produced as a result.

Every project on Kickstarter must fit into one of our categories.
Our categories are Art, Comics, Dance, Design, Fashion, Film, Food, Games, Music, Photography, Publishing, Technology, and Theater."

It's got a clear end - production for public sale. And something will be produced.

Cool idea. But I worry about breaking them if the bike gets dropped or knocked over.

They also dont look as nice as the oberon indicators.  They look kind of cheap.  If it was a little beefier or was sort of tapered at the ends instead of at both ends, instead of just some lump at the end of your bars.  Looks perfect for the suzuki, but im not so sure i would dig it on a monster.  Just looks a little off.

Well then I guess it is time to post up my project there.  I am only missing an electronics guru to help me with the prototype.  Know any?
