My (not so close) backyard  Cool ~500 miles from Oslo

Usually a lot calmer than during these winter storms - vans, campers and trucks are strongly adviced against driving there in conditions like this - there have been a few incidents...

The road is called Atlanterhavsveien (Atlantic Ocean Road) and is one of quite a few stretches in Norway which are planned and executed to bring more than just a plain road. Scenery, parking, view points, toilets, signs, maps a.s.o.
