Awesome. I'm not a superfan of the front either. Kinda Kawasaki ninja-ish...

I like the seat and tank, but there's something that doesnt appeal to me in regards with the front fairing and fender.  Fairing kind of makes the front of the bike look tall, and the fender doesn't flow with the tank/seat.  Blah to the wheels too.  

Thanks for the critique guys.  Unfortunately the bike was built for a customer with very specific requests (Retired Army General) with a set budget. I had to do the best with what he supplied and could afford.  I would have liked to incorporated more "cool" stuff, but as I said, I had to work with a budget.

I think that this picture will give a better visual perspective to the bike.

But overall the build looks wonderful.
If its still around can I make a request? Can you take a pic of the seating section with the fiberglass tail section removed? I am making a cafe tail and seat pan in a little bit and while I have a plan, I'm curious as to other possible solutions.
Did you do away with the seat lock? If so, how does the pan attach?

The modifications to the frame is extensive and involved cutting and welding. Also fabrication of new seat mountings is necessary.  No seat lock as seat is bolted to the frame.

Fantastic color scheme - makes the frame/seat/tank combo flow/merge really well.

Nice touch with the blue (?) grips.

The three spoke wheels aren't 'that' much heavier, so if he likes the look....

The first, left side, pictures made me think about a color matched long belly pan - the new picture doesn't make me think about it.

With the larger brake master, power and feel are probably better. I assume he's not racing the bike, but there are pads that will improve things a lot (if not already installed)

Can you give us details on fitting the tank to the frame?  What mods were made to make it fit?
