So........I finally road her home today!!  This machine is absolutely unbelievable.  Hands down the coolest and most fun i have ever had on a bike!  I couldn't wipe the giant grin off of my face.

These are just some stock pictures i took w/ the phone.  Just had to capture the first day i owned a DUC.  Grin  The few pictures that were taken inside is our addition off the back of our house.  It's not finished yet, going to put a checkered floor down over the sub floor i put in and finish the trim work.  I love having our bikes in the house.  An awesome feeling for sure. It was much cheaper than building a garage.

After i got the bike home, i had to leave for work.  Walked out the front door and there it was....my tail chop kit!!  Perfect timing.  That and I have to pull the ugly reflectors off.  Then it is off with the antler mirrors and on with the CRG arrows.  Also the dealer already ordered my Carbon Termis and will have them put on at 600 miles.  Just so damn happy to have this bike home.  Long time dream come true.

The pic of me and my dog is one of my favorites.....His name is Ben, he's a bada$$.  My fiance had to get in on one as well.   Wink

Congrats, but how did you NOT take the day off to ride? 600 miles should be on the bike by Tuesday!

It is great feeling, good for you.

So true, I consider myself a very lucky man.   Grin     I work hard and it pays off.  Thanks for all the kind words guys.

Mhanis-  I wish i could have 600 by Tuesday! Yesterday was one of the first days here in MI nice enough and warm enough to ride, after today its back in the 30's for a few days!  CRAP!

Congrats!  Sounds like you are making all the right mods ( :  Must be nice to be able to buy Termi's from a dealer.  In California there are no more Termi's being sold by dealers....

Word has it Vance and Hines is facing a huge lawsuit involving every single pipe sold in California in 2012.  I am taking a huge risk ripping the smog off my bike and putting on Zards.  On all bikes built in 2013 it is now patently illegal (in the Republic of Calimake the beast with two backsya) to modify the smog system in anyway.  All 2013 build are supposed to have an EPA compliance stamp right on the pipe.  I am hoping that despite mine being a 2013 it having been built in 2012 (no stamp on pipe) will provide a loophole if it becomes a problem.

Once I get my pipes on I will post up some pics.

A couple crappy night pics, just removed the passenger pegs.  Going to order the carbon fiber exhaust hanger for the other side soon.  That sucker is $300 on pro-italias site!!  I'll have a few of these  drink     Then i'll order it online.   laughingdp

I also took off the fork reflectors and am going to do the tail chop soon.

That carbon hanger is on backorder from Ducati.  Unless Pro-Italia has them in stock it will be a while before they are available.

301.00 is more than my deal wants and makes the 289.00 price look good.  Then again the difference is negligible.  What I really want is a nice machine shop to build a trellis style hanger...........
