Hey guys,

I was driving around and I saw this bike:

I was in a hurry so I only could take this one picture. I think it's a monster 695, maybe a 2007? If you guys could reassure me on what type of bike and year this is that'd be awesome. I just fell in love at first sight and want to purchase a similar bike.

Thanks,
Matt

M695 Dark is a good guess. I always did like those red frames. Looks like it has an added oil cooler.

It does look a lot like a 695, though I'm pretty sure the dark only came with a matte black frame. Tank looks matte, though, so maybe a regular 695 with a painted tank?

Probably not a 695:

 - 695 had the smaller brakes
 - had black engine side covers
 - had black triples
 - didn't have oil cooler
 - had another bar clamp arrangement

My guess is earlier and bigger bike...

A little more info:  FI, the oil cooler is the more rounded than what the carbed 750s and 900s had.  Def not a 750 since the 750s had no tach.

That's a first generation frame.
Carbie, 3-phase alternator, but it's got big front axle and 65mm bolt center calipers.
Looks like 2nd gen tank.
Forks don't look adjustable.

I'm thinking '00 M750.

Some of the later 750's did come with a tach and dual disks in the front.

I have a 695, my bike does not look like that.

Easy to spot:
Black engine cases
Black triple clamps

That there is an 800 with a red frame done up after. Probably 2003 or 04. Could be wrong on the years. I believe them years the 800 still had the dual swing arm. Maybe 04 or 05 is when they(800) came out with the single swing arm. The first of the s2r models.
