I know I fumbled the ball on this by not paying a lot of attention to the "no WSBK on SPEED" thread, but where on DIRECTV is it showing? If at all? What is this BEin that has been mentioned? Treat me like the Neanderthal that I am and try and bring me into this current century. Mmmmm... fire good.

BeIN is channel 620 on DTV. Fantastic coverage, but you need the sports package to get 620.

Well, crap.  Either there needs to be some rule changes where the Ducati's are not hindered by restrictor plates, etc. or Ducati needs to change directions and build a competitive V4.    

Forgot to say "not hindered" earlier.  Oops.

As it's noted... C. Davies wins them both! Always been a fan of Davies. Glad to see he's made it to the big show for a full season with the big boys! That should have been The Ben's ride had he been smart enough to take it! Guess we get another season of The Ben floundering with the CRTs (if he can keep it out of the gravel pit) while Chaz wins a WSBK championship.

It was reported on Eurosport that Checa was thrown from a go kart at a press event on Thursday.

Add that to the injuries he sustained in his crash at PI...which included unreported broken ribs...

and his finish doesn't look so bad.

Too bad about Laverty's and Sykes's electronic gremlins.

It would have been a completely different race.

Race One would have also been different if Melandri hadn't made the two or three big mistakes that he made.  The fact that he garnered 3rd speaks to his skill.  I don't know about his luck because that went all kinds of ways.
