I saved ya the effort! Your wheels are Super Light Weight 7.8 lbs (front), 13.4 lbs (rear)
Did you guys see the new wheels from Carrozzeria? Almost no spokes at all!
http://www.monsterparts.com/pc/CZTRIR/Wheels/CZTRIR.html
Weights (Bare) Front 3.50/17 = 6.1lbs Rear 5.50/17 (8.0lbs) There may be some in my future ( :
Those do look pretty trick! Says they fit DSS though, not SSS. The Carrozerias do seem pretty light...but what do the stockers weigh?

Thanks!
I think I remember my rear wheel being something closer to 11.xxx lbs from when I was talking to Patrick at Carrozzeria, but It may have been a different one that I was considering.
Let me know if any of you would like to see their new wheelset on my bike, I am pretty sure I can work with Patrick to set up a photoshoot.
The more demand for a shoot I have, the more convincing I can be.

Thanks! I don't really want to talk about it.
I guess it does provide me with some quality bonding time cleaning the wheels giving her a good rub down.
I am still getting used to having shiny wheels. Only ever had wheels with a flat black finish on my bikes.
microfiber towel and rubbin alcohol...no streaks

or that too but I don't see how rubbing alcohol would hurt them.
BTW, those wheels look great.

Great looking bike, Spaghetto....dammit, I haven't even started my 2013 updates yet. New cans in the mail, got new CF bits (hugger, side covers), a Rizomo mirror, and I'm staring out the OEM boat anchors - I mean footpeg mounts - and debating whether to go black. But if I go black, will I ever go back?

The rear sets/passenger pegs are quite a conundrum for me for a few reasons.
1. I really really like the ability that the passenger pegs give me to sprawl out on my bike during those long hauls between twisty roads.
2. As a design element, they look to me like a photoshop clone stamp of the sub frame. (not ok for me)
3. I have yet to see AM rear sets that I could become attached to.
4. I NEVER have a passenger so could get AM sets that delete the pass pegs, but then...See reason 1.
As for whether or not to go black on yours...maybe you ought to bring your bike into a low lit area and have a deep meditative conversation with her/him (whichever you choose) and find out what she/he really wants/needs...or i guess you could just toss a coin...

saw someone wreck because of this.
they're PASSENGER pegs for a reason, not rider laydown pegs

If I wreck then it is my own fault. Thank you for your concern.
I understand the risk and have had people poo in my happy box before, but I welcome the risk for five minutes of stretching after an hour + of straight, flat road.

I use the passenger pegs to stretch on long rides as well.
Not sure how it would cause an accident, unless you were doing it on a twisty road or something.

Ok, I have some numbers here.
Just got a reply from Patrick. The front wheel (848 wheel) is 6.9 lbs with the bearings installed, and the rear wheel is 8.8 lbs for a combined total weight of 15.7 lbs.
Look at me practicing my maths here!

That's too bad your attached to the 'chicken wings' rearsets...I get your reasoning though. My first impression when I saw your bike was "damn that's tits, if only it had some proper rearsets!" lol. IMO it would really accentuate that SSS with your setup.

Whoa Whoa Whoa! Lets not throw around the word "attached" so loosely here.
