Believe me guys - I have replayed that arvo in my mind a million times and still can't believe I didn't sense a single thing wrong.
Did a couple hundred k's today over Mt Glorious and the loop with the wife on the back, stopping to check everything over regularly and it seems to be fine. The brake has a little bit more pedal than it had when I picked it up, but not what I would call enough. There is no stickiness in the pedal at all either, and everything feels smooth.
