Road Trip to Heron Lake
«
on:
May 02, 2013, 05:54:48 PM »
I just spoke with John Roth who used to ride the Crest with us on his Xerox 1098 and his Paul Smart.
He bought property at Heron Lake and has been working on building a house for the last couple of years.
He would love to ride with us up there and show us around as well.
I'm thinking about a
trip the weekend of May 25.
Let me know who is interested so we can plan for accommodations as well.
Pam will bring the cage to haul supplies etc.

Why isn't Pam riding her new Panigale??
If I wasn't almost 2000 miles away, I would be in!

Not sure about overnight, but looks like a nice ride. Keep me in the loop as the date gets closer.

Early Saturday departure with Pam navigating the chase vehicle...cage that is.
Just need a head count to make sure we can accommodate over night stays at L'Scott or John's place at the lake and
take the appropriate supplies.

Why don't you ride up Friday & stay here Friday night?

Not a bad idea...more riding time
What do we need to bring if we want to crash at your place for a night assuming we have your permission?
Oh....and could the interested parties play hooky from work for half a day on Friday to head north?

No permission needed, all y'all are welcome anytime
Hell, ride up today!!!!!
I've got a bed & 2 futons that each hold 2, plus a sofa & another futon that hold 1 each. You wouldn't need to bring a thing, maybe a pillow if you so desire, & a spare liver

After some good input from NMMR hooligans I'm suggesting that we do a Heron run a week after the upcoming holiday weekend. This way we won't have to put up with all the slow holiday traffic like people hauling campers, boats,
presence etc.

If it's the weekend after this coming one, then perhaps Ro & I can make it. I'll go check w/the missus...
