...sorry but this post deserves it's own thread.

Finished the bike today and put 30 miles on it.  I am so happy with the way it turned out.  It drives like a dream.

Thank you DMF for all your support and patience with me.  I joined the forum 6 months ago with a TON of questions.  You helped me take a $500 totaled bike and turn it into this:

Congrats man.  Happy to see the bike has come together.  All that money saving you did on the front-end only means you'll be modding this thing out soon enough.

Looks awesome! I love the headlight.  Where did you get it?  Do you have any straight on pics of it?  And will it fit a 2013 Monster 1100Evo?  Ok, I'm done.   Grin

Thanks man.  Yeah I will call this phase 1.  Once I get some more discretionary income I already have ideas for phase 2  Smiley

The headlight is from a KTM Superduke.  I have an older pix from straight on here:

I should get some updated pictures from the front though because so far that is my favorite view of this bike.  Yeah I am sure you can get the headlight to fit your bike but it will take some fab work to make a mount for it.

Thanks for the compliment!
