I know there are a few threads on here about the validity and the use of steering dampers, but I'd like to hear from people who own them why they made they choice they did.
There are a lot to choose from, and I'd like to find one that people have positive things to say about it.
BellissiMoto has a handful to choose from, GPR, biturbo ect.
As well as Scott's, creating your own, ect.
So, what do you have on your 696/796/1? And why?
Has maintenance been an issue?
Any specific brand to just avoid (ebay)?

Thanks

On my DR650 I have Emig Racing's "Evolution II".  Compact, effective, well priced, nicely made.

Om my M1100 I have no steering damper - never felt the need on a road bike.

(Thank you for not referring to it as a "dampener")

I have made the mistake of typing dampener but only because my spell checker did not recognize dampner.  I spelled it right when I typed it but the silly red line under the word made me second guess myself.  Wonder how often that happen........
