Living in the area now. Have a sit-on-top and would like to go around back bay and also hit some surf..if at all possible with a Wilderness Ride 115?  I've only used it on the lakes in TX. Looking for gear recommendations. Do I need a waterproof jacket a wet suit..a full or half?  I'd like to take advantage of the REI sale going on now so if you all have any ideas, let me know.

Will do.  Checked out the local Newport shop.  Seeing a ton of Ducs on roads! Of course, it's when I DON'T have a Duc in the garage.   boo

I love it but my paddling experience has just been 1 year.  Not fishing out of it yet.
