Have Fun!!!!!!

« on: May 24, 2013, 06:32:04 AM »

This is my m900 when I first bought it. That day I removed the front fairing and chopped the tail.

Later i decided i was sitting up way to strait so i had to go with clip ons. Later i was looking on the internet and saw a couple of monsters with full fairings for racing. After doing all the research i decided 1098 fairings would be my fairings of choice. I know some people will say "why not just buy a 1098", and i have reasons for that. I like the 1098 but i dont like the squared tank, I like the round monster tank. Im also stationed in Okinawa Japan and bikes are way overpriced here so a 2008 1098 is about $20,000 my monster about $5,000 after everything is said and done with the fairings I spent about $6,500. Lastly I like to customize beyond bolt on parts so this was a good project for me. Well here it is with all the fairings on.

Spike in PDX

I love it! When you consider that a Monster originally was a superbike with the fairing off it is just going back to it's roots!
Butt what is up with the nipples on the fairing?
