Springs and oil in the front and a spring in the back. Usually Monsters are under sprung IIRC

I'm 5,11 and about 180 in gear. I have found the evos forks have a good spring rate for my weight. However, the rear spring rate is WAY too low. And it also doesn't help that there is no compression adjustment to try and counter it.

It's more than $400 but a new rear would do the most good for good suspension.

Use the sport rider online recommended settings and go from there. If that's not close enough, have it set professionally.

I usually don't agree with going all out on suspension for road bikes for "comfort", if you want comfort there are bikes built specifically for that. But they aren't nearly as fun as our monsters.
