Cool entry bikes

What a fantastic concept.  Great bang for your buck/ cool factor.  Why anyone would get a Rebel or any other 250 is beyond me.

I was able to see these guys at the Cleveland MC show two years ago. The bikes are definately cool as hell. I was even more amazed at the price.

It is good to see a change in the entry level bike market, even better for me since it's just up the road in Cleveland. Though, you have to accept what you are getting at the price - built in China. To tell you the truth, that wouldn't bother me too much because if I got one it would be used as a platform for modding. I will say that the bikes they had on display did look nicely put together, there was nothing that screamed cheap.

All in all, a great idea and I wish them the best. I hope to own one down the road!

One thing that does annoy me is the misspelling of "the" in the model name, but that's just because I'm an old fogey.

Why anyone would get a Rebel or any other 250 is beyond me.

Having ridden my wife's 2013 Ninja 300 home no more than 2 days ago, I can give you pages of reasons why.
But the highlights are, FANTASTIC motor, HUGE giggle factor, comfortable for even my 5'11" overweight frame, surprisingly capable brakes, impressively good entry level suspension, handles like it is on rails in turns, I have never carried so much corner speed on a bike before...

I saw a video on these guys awhile back.  One of their goals in designing a simple bike was not only that it would be cheap (as you all noted) but also that it would be easy to work on, especially for those with limited mechanical experience.
