thinking about picking up one of these:

I'm a bad dad, I forgot to disconnect my battery over the winter.  My current one is dead and won't come back to life.  Has anyone tried that TMS battery above?  The price is certainly right but is this a case of you get what you pay for?

Also, the last couple of rides (been pop starting it) the bike has been acting up.  It has a pretty bad bog/stutter around the middle of the rpm range but clears up when you get on the throttle.  Also the tach has been really flaky, it was bouncing around like crazy and reading much higher RPMs than what the engine was actually at.  Could this be related to a bad battery or do I possibly have another problem that caused the bad battery?
